'83. Our client is a leading investment management and hedge fund firm with

Senior Project Manager to be responsible for driving and delivering highly
complex projects within the Account Management Department.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering excellent
technology projects to the department. S/he will own and drive project
delivery for technology and business projects. The wide variety of projects
executed will include application development, package implementation, and
business process redesign. This individual will report to the Head of
Account Management Technology and lead projects on our next generation
portfolio generation system and data warehouse, development of core services
and architectural framework, and manage the integration of strategic,
third-party software.

The ideal candidate:

*    Is an exceptional project manager with an uncompromising focus on
delivery
*    Can communicate clearly and concisely with a wide variety of people
/ functions
*    Has deep knowledge of project management practices, with 8+ years of
total related experience in project management or development (5+ years
delivering multiple projects in an enterprise environment)
*    Has deep knowledge of project management methodology especially
Agile/Scrum; understands what processes are suited to different kinds of
projects; can develop and implement an effective plan rather than blindly
repeating what they have done in the past
*    Has a solid understanding of the intersection between software
engineering and project/delivery management
*    Is adept at both delivering projects directly and via subordinates,
and uses metrics in oversight and reporting
*    Can assess the current state of an organization, envision the
changes that are necessary or desirable, and develop and successfully
implement a plan for transforming the organization to achieve the desired
changes, overcoming obstacles along the way
*    Thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment; is forceful yet
open-minded and comfortable giving and receiving feedback
*    Values truth and excellence
*    Degree from one of the nation's top universities
