Act as database administrator: ensure externally reported data files are error free and in correct file format, problem solve database issues, generate quality and financial reports using data from multiple databases on a routine basis, and assist with analysis of data and development of a data warehouse. Also, be engaged as a key member in System-wide performance improvement teams to define metrics and establish data collection methods.

- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Computer Science or Healthcare related fields
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of information systems, data storage structures and file formats; experience with hospital data systems preferred
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to hospital policies and procedures governing patient privacy, appropriate access and confidentiality of patient information
- Understanding of hospital revenue cycle, cost accounting, various clinical coding systems and clinical severity adjustment
- Strong skills in word processing, business graphics, spreadsheets database design, SQL, Unix, and database applications
