The Marketing Analyst is an analytical individual who gathers and explores Apple HR data, discovers patterns and trends, and then translates information into recommended program changes. The successful candidate is able to make sense of and provide presentations from the online advertising, email, and web data that will significantly affect future programs and marketing initiatives. Data will be gathered on a scheduled and ad hoc basis, sometimes requiring fast turnaround. This person is persuasive and driven to implement and follow through on recommended changes.

Specific responsibilities
Analyze data on traffic patterns and navigation behavior for internal and external HR and recruiting websites
Pull and assess email and newsletter initiative results, including opens, clicks, and general behavior
Work with advertising agency to gather and assess advertising media results
Collaborate with Web Analyst to identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve website effectiveness, to understand user interactions with sites, and to scope out opportunities to increase user engagement and satisfaction
Liaise with the technology and marketing teams to identify reporting requirements, monitor the reporting implementation, and evaluate post-launch metrics
Persuasively present your findings through several methods, including accurate spreadsheets, attractive charts and graphs, online reporting dashboards, and in-person presentations
Proactively gather and share research findings, market trends, competitive analysis, and benchmarking with our partners and senior staff
Show a deep understanding of data analysis as it relates to business goals, marketing programs, and user experience
Collaborate with corporate Omniture team to roll out deeper integration and build online dashboard

Requirements
Excellent understanding of Omniture or similar analytics tools
Spreadsheets power user
Demonstrable experience providing actionable and effective marketing recommendations
Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions in a crisp and concise manner
Self-motivated and able to deliver results with minimal supervision

Education
BS or equivalent degree as well as a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
