Senior Accountant/Analyst

Bridger, a leading provider of commercial real estate capital and advisory services to the U.S. banking industry, has an immediate opening for a flexible, part-time or full-time Senior Accountant/Analyst. Reporting to the CFO, this position will manage financial, accounting and payroll functions, with significant career potential as the company grows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Create and maintain financial models, processes and controls.
• Analyze financial and operational performance metrics to improve business decision making and increase profitability.
• Manage year-end audit and tax process.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years experience in a fast-paced accounting and finance department (preferably in a financial services organization).
• Active CPA designation and/or MBA a plus.

Required Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required as well as excellent command of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid understanding of accounting theory, practice and systems (Navision experience a plus).
• Highly motivated, self-starter who can problem solve and obtain results quickly while juggling many competing priorities, both strategic and tactical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills, work ethic and customer service orientation.
• Ability to quickly understand business processes and advocate for change.
