COMPANY: ETCETERA
POSITION: Regional Manager
JOB FUNCTION: Recruiting; Business Development; Management
Etcetera Regional Managers work directly with the President of Etcetera to ensure strategic growth of the twelve Etcetera regions. Each must be a proven leader in the business and/or volunteer communities and an achievement-oriented self-starter who has extensive social and professional connections in the region.
Each Regional Manager is responsible for building the Etcetera presence in her region to levels defined by Etcetera, based on market research. To achieve these goals, the Regional Manager will create and lead a strong team of Area Development Managers, who, in turn, will establish and support qualified Sales Consultants in all viable markets in their areas. These Sales Consultants, who present four Etcetera collections each year through seasonal trunk shows, are the selling and service link between each Etcetera collection and the wide range of customers who wear it.
A Regional Manager is the key to success in her region. Her tenacity and skills as networker, recruiter, trainer, communicator and leader will determine the market range and strength of her ADM team. Her mastery in transferring these skills to her team will directly affect their success in recruiting and training a dynamic, motivated Sales Consultant corps—thus affecting bottom line sales and achievement of regional goals.
