About the Business

As part of the Regional Marketing Team at Towers Perrin, you will work to develop, implement, and sustain a full range of marketing activities in support of the firm's strategies and business objectives.

What Is In It For You

In this position, you will be the San Francisco Marketing Manager, focusing on delivering national and local marketing programs within the local markets and managing and measuring the effectiveness of tactics on a local basis. Key performance objectives and ongoing responsibilities: Successful candidates will: Possess strong business acumen and deep experience with core marketing tactics  Demonstrate excellent project management and communication skills  Be comfortable with ambiguity, leading projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization.  Successfully interact with senior leaders and provide proactive support in the development and execution of local marketing programs  Work well as part of a team successfully leading project teams through decision making in a consensus driven environment  Collaborate with business leaders to develop and manage sales and marketing campaigns, events and training  Deepen relationships with existing key clients/accounts by identifying potential gaps in service offerings and recommending plans to integrate new services for those clients  Conduct competitor or client research as needed to support sales activity and use client databases to help local leadership evaluate market potential and service mix  Support the account planning process through the use of market knowledge, research, and database management  Design and execute strategies to ensure effective follow-up with clients following campaigns or events, and monitor client satisfaction  Support local media plans, including interfacing with the local press, assessing sponsorship opportunities and identifying speaking engagements for senior consultants  Oversee production of local collateral or other materials and monitor compliance with firm-wide brand, editorial and graphic standards  Champion and administer all sales and marketing information

Experience Required

 5 -7+ years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in professional services and/or human resources environment  Strategic and tactical marketing experience, including marketing planning and execution and project management  Experience in writing and editing business development materials as well as creating and working with spreadsheets, graphs and database management  Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them to high standards under time constraints  Availability and willingness to work outside normal business hours  Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision  Travel required between West Region offices including San Francisco and Denver  College degree required and degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Business Administration preferred
