- IBM.com is a great start. Great company. That is where I work.
- I work for a small 5 person Interactive Agency. We are looking for a Microsoft Silverlight developer to help on a project that would take about 2 months. We have not yet been awarded the job however would like to have someone lined up to help us if we get the project. serena shnayer <sshnayer@gmail.com>
- I have my own business with an existing company, Arbonne International. My job is to teach and train people how to have a successful home based business. This business is appealing to thousands of more people, especially women right now who need to earn extra $$$$, but who still want the luxury of staying home raising their children. If you would like to learn more, please contact me via email or call me at 631.258.8042.
- CPAs with Big Four or public co experience are always in great demand
- Kaiser is always hiring. Health professional and allied (reserach, admin, finance, HR, PR, etc.). UCSF always has jobs posted on their site. CraigsList is a good place to look weekly.
For State of CA: http://www.spb.ca.gov/employment/wvpos_index.htm
For Gov't: http://jobsearch.usajobs.opm.gov/ - I handle the recruitment for Nina McLemore, Inc and we are looking for moms who want to work from home and work in the fashion industry selling/marketing beautiful designer clothing.
- Flexperience:some skills in demand right now are:
-- RIF specialists (Reduction in Force)
-- Employment Attorneys (clients prefer our attorneys at half the rate of law firms)
-- Tech Recruiters - I am hiring for my clients, primarily for the tough ones to fill.
Since I am focused on IT, my clients are looking to me to help them fill ones that require too much time to fill. These have been telephony engineers and high level executive leaders of development; for health care technology people, for the most part. They have been mostly full time, but some contract work.
Hope this helps.

jency@twodogsolutions.com - I have an organic skin care and mineral cosmetics business, and am looking for part-time and full-time account reps. throughout the US, Canada, and abroad. We are expanding into baby care and a mens line, and of course, they will be organic, as well. The candidates should be well groomed, self-confident, self-starters that want no limits on their income potential. We will train on each of the products, as well as train on how to sell, and the positions are open immediately. The hours can be very flexible-making it perfect for busy mothers on the go. The option of working strictly through home parties exists as well for the mothers of very young children who don't want to leave their children at day care for hours at a time. If you have any questions, feel free to email or call me at 6613730151. <terra@heavenlyboutiqueltd.com>Thank you
- I work for an interactive agency and we're always on the look out for good "user experience" folks. Within that field of expertise good Information Architects and true Interaction Designers are often hard to find. With the economy being what it is we're finding that clients' advertising budgets will shrink however they are investing in the web as a credible place to do business. Being online is not new but it does provide an alternate channel and better bang for your proverbial buck. The user experience is at the heart of that interaction with consumers so is a very important aspect of creating a website. We're also hiring technical architects (engineers/developers) for the back-end development of those sites and on the look out for stellar project managers with web experience. These are full-time, non-contractor positions though we have some flexibility around 4-day weeks and options to work from home as needed. Sometimes we do open these up to freelancers when the need arises. Hope that helps. I know these are very specific posts to fill but they do reflect jobs "in demand". Melanie Melanie Lowe
- FILTER is a local staffing agency. We're always looking for Flash designers & Actionscript developers for our clients.
- I'm a fairly specialized recruiter...I help fill environmental and engineering positions. I'm actively looking to fill some Project Manager level positions and above for an environmental consulting firm. These are full-time positions and are actually quite difficult to fill. Not only are the qualifications fairly specific (must have working experience with the California Environmental Quality Act), but the pool of candidates is extremely small. The years experience is minimum 8-10 years in the industry...if you do the math, many of the folks that would have tended to have an aptitude for physical sciences or engineering that would be in that years of experience range went into the dot.com world instead.
On the flip side, I also recruit for marketing positions in the professional services industry. For those positions I start getting resumes within a minute of posting the advertisement, with a huge variety of qualifications and experience. I will get Marketing Directors responding to advertisements for Marketing Assistant positions. My clients generally want full-time employees. They will consider PT or IC options for the absolute right candidate, but ideally they want full-time.
Looking forward to seeing your responses!

(415) 370-6434 - Professional development days for teachers. Those who would be considered qualified would be former teachers. The best candidate would be a person who actually taught out of the text book in question.
Here's how. A former teacher should brush up with old colleagues to find out which text book is in the schools now. Be able to talk abut the skills taught in the text book and current teacher-lingo.
Do not call HR they do not hire the Per Diem consultants.. All large publishing houses have consultants in their education divisions. Those consultants have managers. Call the 800 number, ask customer service who the consultant, sales rep and consultant manager is for their area.
Houghton Mifflin Harcout are in Boston
Pearson is in Boston
McGraw Hill is in NYC.
In addition to this work many publishing houses have summer work. 4-8 weeks where they are working on a particular piece of curriculum development. Also great work for a Young mother as we can sometimes find a college student that we trust and like easier than a full time nanny or day care situation. This summer work is usually posted in March/April on the publishing house web site.Short term work, but great ways to meet people and great resume material. Martha - My company is hiring. See our website: http://www.guidewire.com/about_guidewire/careers. We are hiringpretty much across the entire company. The website lists all the jobs that are open.
