Wynn Burkett is a career coach who supports clients in finding work that makes the most of their talents and interests. She works with clients to give them greater insight into their values and gifts, to imagine possibilities and to move them to action in conducting a successful job search. Her clients include On-Rampers, Off-Rampers, women executives and anyone hoping to achieve greater fulfillment and effectiveness in their professional and personal lives.
Wynn brings over 20 years of experience and training to her coaching clients. With a background in finance -- both as an investment banker at Credit Suisse/First Boston in New York and for a financial regulatory agency in Washington, DC, she has a focus on outcomes. After taking time off to be a mother, her most challenging role to date, she founded the Golden Gate Mothers Group in 1996 to provide information and community to new moms in San Francisco. In 2001, she published Life After Baby, a book based on interviews with career women about the transition to motherhood.
Building on her passion for supporting women in finding rewarding work, she started a private coaching practice in 2002 and also designs and facilitates workshops. She received her coaching certification through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), San Rafael, as well as completing CTI’s year-long international Leadership Program. She is qualified as a Myers Briggs provider. She received her BA from Stanford University and a MBA from the Yale School of Management in 1985. She lives in San Francisco where she juggles work and family.
